    Agnes Kende is a visiting research fellow of the 7th framework research project „Reducing Early School Leaving in the EU” at the Center for Policy Studies. She is also a national expert responsible for implementing education of integration policy in a national program to combat child poverty first hosted by The Hungarian Academy of Sciences, later financed by European Social Fund.

    She has been project leader of ‘the Roma (disadvantaged children) Educational Integration Program’ at Educatio Kht, Agency for Educational Development and In-service Teacher Trainig, as well as a co-author of a background paper of Needs Assessment Study on Roma children in education for the Roma Education Fund. She was an editor at Radio © - the first Hungarian Roma radio station.

    Between 2008 and 2010 she was a research fellow at EDUMIGROM, a research project entitled Ethnic differences in education and diverging prospects for urban youth in an enlarged Europe, and 2000-2003 she acted as research assistant at IPROSEC (Improving Policy Responses and Outcomes to Socio-Economic challenges: changing family structures, policy and practice), a research project within the 5th Framework Program of the European Commission.
