The annual conference has been the primary forum in Australia for supporting and disseminating research across a wide range of educational fields. We encourage researchers from Australia and our international colleagues to bring local, national and global perspectives to engage with the theme Researching Across Boundaries
Boundaries could include, though not be limited to: researching across sectors and-agencies, workforce planning to address issues of regional disadvantage, the legacy and implications of recent reviews into schooling, higher education and the academic workforce, interdisciplinary research, and so on.
Researching Across Boundaries may involve new approaches to teaching and learning, new forms of collaborative leadership and management and new approaches to meeting challenges in research methodologies, production and publication.

- Lyn Yates, Foundation Professor of Curriculum, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research), University of Melbourne
- Miriam Zukas, Professor of Adult Education and Executive Dean of the School of Social Science, History and Philosophy at Birkbeck, University of London
