IAEA 2015 - 41st Annual Conference - The Three Most Important Considerations in Testing: Validity, Validity, Validity
Date : du 11-10-2015 au 15-10-2015
Lieu : University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas
Modalité : présentiel
Organisation : International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA)
Programme :
The 41st International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) Conference will gather educational leaders from around the world to share innovative ideas of educational assessment techniques aimed at improving quality in education.
Validity – the extent to which inferences drawn from test scores are appropriate – is by far the most important technical characteristic of a test. But because it is much more challenging to establish validity than other test desiderata, it has gotten short shrift in most testing programs. How can advances in technology, test development, psychometrics, and score reporting improve the validity of our testing programs?
While proposals are welcome on any topic related to educational assessment, we especially encourage papers related to the three conference sub-themes:
- Using Technology to Improve Validity
- Improving Test Development Procedures to Improve Validity
- Score Reporting: The Cornerstone of Validity
Deadline for abstract submission : June 1, 2015
